This past Saturday (10/31) the Onondaga Rotary Club assisted by members of Neighboring Rotary Clubs, local Boy Scout Troops, and the Riders club constructed a field of honor on the corner of Buckley Rd. and Henry Clay Boulevard to honor Veterans in preparation for a dedication ceremony to be held on Sunday November 8th. The volunteers respectfully designed a grid to construct over 600 flags to identify Honor Flight members, veterans who are either deceased, active or inactive. All flags are offered to families after the ceremony or repaired and used for the following year.
